Hello!
My name is Alexis Guillemette and I am the owner of SoCal Avenue. I am located in North Orange County and am lucky enough to work from home full time as a Technical Project Manager for a global credit company. SoCal Avenue is my "passion project" and allows me to bring my creativity to life while also bringing joy to people and life's events. Being a small business owner has been one of my greatest accomplishments and I couldn't be prouder to share my passion with you all!
SoCal Avenue's Story
Launched in September 2019, SoCal Avenue began as a creative outlet for me, driven by my passion for thrift shopping and uncovering hidden gems that deserve a second chance. What started as a personal hobby—distressing sports and college shirts for friends and family to wear at game days and to concerts—soon blossomed into a thriving small business.
This year, I took a leap of faith and decided to leave the Etsy platform to venture out and expand my business. While upcycled clothing is how I got my start, my love for creating has led me to explore new horizons. Customizations have become a significant extension of my brand, and I’ve cherished every moment of bringing my customers’ unique visions to life.I’m thrilled to see how my initial spark of creativity has evolved into a successful venture, and I’m excited to share my passion for both upcycled fashion and custom designs with you.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here’s to celebrating unique style and sustainable fashion together!
